Mini Meet Results

On Saturday 3rd June LASA held a Mini Meet event for its younger 9 to 11 years old age group swimmers from across the county, with eight affiliated clubs entering their swimmers for the event. The event gave invaluable experience to these swimmers in a relaxed open meet environment and will stand them in good stead for their future swimming journey. Unlike most events where swimmers receive an award for each event they enter i.e. 100m IM the Mini Meet takes the World Aquatics Points gained from each event, these being 100m IM, 50m Backstroke and 200m Frontcrawl, and adds them together to give an overall points winner. Finally, thank you to all the volunteers who made the mini meet so successful.  Also well done to every swimmer, some for whom this would have been their first County gala.  We do hope you all enjoyed the evening even though it was so warm.
