DO YOU HAVE A VOLUNTEER THAT YOU WANT TO NOMINATE FOR AN AWARD?
It is that time again when you have the opportunity to thank your wonderful volunteers. I am sure you all have volunteers who go beyond what is expected of them and now is the time to thank them. We know not everyone will be a winner but just being nominated means that you are saying thank you to these very special volunteers.
Nominations need to be with Swim England by 7th July 2024. It is very easy to nominate, just follow the link below.
The categories that East Midlands region will be awarding are:
Club of the Year (for each discipline)
Development Coach Award (one award per aquatic sport)
Performance Pathway Coach Award (one award per aquatic sport)
Technical Official of the Year
Volunteer of the Year
Young Volunteer of the Year (nominations to be taken from the Volunteer of the Year nominations)
Outstanding Contribution to Aquatics Award (nominations to be taken from the Harold Fern and Alfred H Turner awards)
Swimming Teacher of the Year (within a club setting – nominations to be taken from the Swimming Teacher of the Year)
The Region are hoping to hold an regional awards ceremony in September in Loughborough.
