2012 Age Groups & Championship

The 2012 Championships will be held over the weekends of 25^th&26^th February, 2^nd&3^rd March and 10^th& 11^th March.

Programmes for each session will be published in the EVENTS pages once available, and the results will be published on the RESULTS page.

23 FEB		** FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY TO APPLY FOR OLYMPIC TICKETS LASA is giving away 3 pairs of tickets for aquatics events to be held at the 2012 London Olympics. You will need to be an ASA member registered to a club affiliated to LASA. You will need to complete an application that will be entered into the ballot to be drawn between 12th & 16th March. 22 FEB		Officials Details of the allocation of Officials to roles at each gala and information relating to a Club Timekeepers course being run on 25th February can be foud at the SWIMMING/OFFICIALS page.
20 FEB		Withdrawals To minimise the number of empty lanes clubs and swimmers are asked to notify Trevor Hincks by 9pm on the Thursday night before each weekend if they do not intend to swim. This should be done by emailing: withdrawals@leicestershireasa.org If anyone has to withdraw after this, please can coaches notify the marshalling area at each gala by completing the sheets on the wall in that area. This will save the volunteers organising the swimmers searching for people who are not there.
19 FEB		The Warm-Up procedures for the first 4 galas are now available for download from the EVENTS page. It is important that these are adhered to, particulalry the number of swimmers per lane.
19 FEB		Information has been sent to all clubs regarding the general organisation of the galas together with the Code of Conduct for the Braunstone Leisure Centre and the Conversion of the Midland SC Qualifying times to LC. These documents can be downloaded from the section above.
18 FEB		Programme for the first weekend is now availble for download from the EVENTS page
2 FEB		IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT A letter and claim form has been sent to all clubs explaining the procedure and conditions for swimmers to request a refund where they are no longer able to swim an event due to the event having been moved in the schedule
26 JAN		IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT A Letter has been sent out to all clubs informing of the changes to the programme in order to accomodate all competitirs. A revised programme of events has been published abive. It is important you read the LETTER and check the programme.
