Congratulaions to Braunstone SC 2025 Young Teams Gala Winners!

On Saturday 29th November 7 teams, made up of eight clubs (Shepshed SC & Oadby & Wigston SC joined forces) converged on Braunstone Leisure Centre to compete for the Young Teams Trophy. Swimming 13 relay races there were displays of great team spirit, speed, enormous fun & excitement from the athletes aged 9 to 12 years swimming in two age groups 9/10 yrs and 11/12 yrs.

The races were fiercely fought with some very close finishes each race earning points for the finish place achieved. All points were accumulated to give an overall finish position. The winning team was awarded the Young Teams trophy, with each member also receiving gold medals and Selection Boxes. The second and third placed teams received silver and bronze medals respectively and a box of 'well known' chocolates to share. All remaining team also receive a box of chocolates to share.
