It was "Nip & Tuck" all the way at the LASA Inter-Clubs Relay Gala

The LASA Inter Clubs Relay Gala, held 5th September 2026 at Braunstone Leisure Centre, had some thrilling races, showcasing the athletic skills of Leicestershire swimmers and fostering camaraderie within and amongst the 10 competing teams.

There were two competitions, one Female and one Open/Male. Trophies were awarded to the winning teams.

In the female competition its was Coalville, Leicester Sharks and Braunstone who dominated the table, with Loughborough, Market Harborough and Hinckley vying for the third to sixth place slots. Leicester Neptune, Shepshed, Melton and Leicester Penguins fought hard for there position in the points score.

In the male competition it was Braunstone, Leicester Sharks, Loughborough Town and Coalville who were in the battle for the top slot. Braunstone and Leicester Sharks were level pegging from beginning to end, with Loughborough and Coalville fighting hard to keep in touch with the leaders. For the other teams there were only single points separating them.
