Emma Graham-Brown was selected to race for Great Britain at the European Junior Triathlon Championships.
Still a youth, Emma was racing against older, more experienced athletes. In her individual race she finished 17th, making her the best finishing junior female athlete from Great Britain.
As a consequence of Emma's individual race achievement she was selected for the mixed relay team the following day. She led off the first leg, handing over in third place right at the front of the race, setting the team up for a podium finish. The team took the Gold, winning the race to be crowned Junior European Mixed-relay Champions.
Well done, Emma, on achieving such fantastic results!
Emma has trained with City of Leicester since 2021 and Leicester Penguins since 2017 and remains part of both clubs for swimming training and competition.
