It's going to be busy!
There have been 566 swimmers entering the Championship this year with a total of 3626 swims, excluding finals, over the three weekends. There are two sessions that have pushed the timings to the very limits, requiring difficult decisions to be made: reject swimmers or extend the session times. After some discussions and negotiations with the Leisure Centres, and the swapping of the order of a couple of events, we have been able to secure extra pool time enabling all swimmers to compete in all events they have entered.
This means that there will be some very busy sessions that will require everyone's help. From swimmers to coaches, team managers to officials and volunteers to spectators you all need to play your part in keep things running smoothly and on schedule to ensure everyone has a fair chance of fulfilling their role and achieving their goals. More on this will be communicated in due course. Your support and cooperation in this regard is very much appreciated.
